File Integrity Monitor

Create a trusted SHA-256 baseline for files you explicitly select. Later, choose the corresponding files again and use Compare to Latest Baseline to calculate fresh hashes and identify unchanged, modified and newly selected files.

Baselines are stored in Omega Security Pro's IndexedDB storage for the current browser/PWA profile. They are separate from the private server core, which maintains its own authenticated website-file integrity baselines and trusted-backup recovery functions.

File contents are used locally to calculate SHA-256 for this PWA integrity workflow. The comparison does not require an upload.
A browser cannot continuously monitor arbitrary filesystem locations in the background. Integrity checks operate only on files or directories you explicitly select or grant while browser permissions allow access.
