Network & Link Defence

Network Defence measures the Omega PWA's own connection state and protects destinations opened from within Omega Security Pro. It does not become a system-wide VPN, packet filter, router firewall or DNS service.

Live network measurements

The Hybrid runtime reports online/offline state, same-origin RTT to /ping.txt, and effective connection hints where the browser exposes the Network Information API.

Local destination analysis and PWA link guard

Current local URL rules include raw-IP hosts, punycode, deep subdomain chains, embedded credentials, non-HTTPS destinations, credential/payment lure terms and executable/script download targets. When the phishing guard is enabled, external links clicked inside Omega can be blocked when the local risk score reaches the configured high-risk threshold.

Local allow/block lists

User-controlled domain allow/block lists are stored in the current browser profile. A blocked domain is assigned maximum local Omega risk; an allowed domain reduces the local Omega heuristic score. These lists do not change the operating-system firewall, router or DNS configuration.

Online website analysis

The implemented online control uses Omega's bounded public website-security endpoint for HTTPS, redirect and response-security-header analysis. It is not a general-purpose reputation feed. When offline, the control remains visible and displays the Internet Connection Required state.
